Radiohead sells their new album for tips.

I swear to god, this is exactly why Radiohead rocks so goddamn hard.

Radiohead decided that they didn't need a record label any more. Actually, they didn't really need CDs, but they kept 'em around for the people who want them. And what's more, they didn't really know what to charge for the album they're dropping on Oct 10, so they left it up to the consumers - each and every consumer who buys their new album - to decide. In Rainbows, the band's seventh full-length release will have no set price. Instead, you pay what you feel is appropriate when you checkout on Radiohead's website. Awesome.
